Last Frontier

In 1997 I cycled and worked around Alaska. The Last Frontier is an ongoing project about a lifelong interest in the places where people scratch away at the last remaining wild places. It was a sobering experience and after four months easy to conclude that all human presence in nature is destructive. The journey led directly to yurt living, then yurt building and a belief that we don't have to trash the planet to live on it.
