The Green Man Yurt

“The simple pleasures of sitting in the candlelit yurt, fire roaring and listening to the raindrops, was a truly hypnotic and soul-soothing experience” Andy, October

Green Man yurt 16ft, Sleeps 2 (plus one little one in a cot)

The deep green and brown yurt is our most secluded yurt, hard to see against the backdrop of oak and hawthorn trees. It is set up on a wooden deck with tables and benches for eating outside and a campfire nearby. It is lined with wool serge and cotton throughout and the floor is covered in carpets and rugs with a double bed and big armchair to flop onto.

The yurt frame itself is made here in our workshop from coppiced ash with wiggly poles reaching up to the overhead wheel with a clear window to the sky. Lanterns, suspended from the roof poles, cast a warm glow and beautiful shadows in the evenings.

There is a fire pit and barbecue outside and a wood burning stove inside and a hammock swinging in the trees nearby.

Late Availability

We are almost completely full up for the summer but currently have the week of 21st - 28th August available (as a week stay only).
