Retail Terms & Conditions

Yurtworks is Changing. After 22 years making beautiful handcrafted yurts we are hanging up the tools and turning down the steamer to move on to new and exciting projects.  Consequently we are no longer taking new orders for yurts or covers but will do our best to give support to all our existing customers.

Thank you for your interest in Yurtworks and to all our customers who have supported us over the years.

Please contact us here for more details.

Please read the Terms and Conditions below before ordering a yurt from Yurtworks.

Our Bluebell Wood YurtYurtworks products are designed and manufactured for use in the applications described on our website and in our brochure. Their use in any other application is entirely at the risk of the buyer. We can be responsible only for manufacturing defects in goods supplied by us, and our liability shall be limited to the cost of such goods.

Should a product be found to be defective please contact us within 28 days to correct the problem.

Advice about the care of the yurt frame and canvas, accompany the Instruction Details but because we use natural materials both wood and cotton are subject to changes arising from different climatic conditions. Yurtworks is not responsible for these changes.

Mildew can be a problem in our damp warm climate. Advice as how to minimise the effects of mildew is given in the care manual but Yurtworks is not responsible for mildew growth.
Yurtworks retain the right to change the specification of the work without prior notification. This can sometimes arise when design changes or refinements are made but does not imply lack of suitability of previous designs.

The balance is due on completion of the work and Yurtworks retains ownership of goods until payment has been received in full.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling. VAT is not applicable. Prices are subject to alteration without prior notification.

Orders are only confirmed with a 33% deposit. Deposits are non refundable so please make sure you are certain about what you are ordering when placing an order.
Every attempt is made to deliver on time, but with small craft based businesses delays can arise. Yurtworks is not responsible for any inconvenience caused or income lost to the customer as a result of an unanticipated delay.

Despite these small print forebodings very few problems ever arise. We make every effort to ensure that our customers are always in the picture throughout the making process and are welcome to visit the workshop to see the work in progress. This approach helps to ensure that our customers take delivery of a yurt that will be enjoyed for years to come.
